PREGNANCY ESSENTIALS LIST
Hooray for baby number 3! At almost 20 weeks already (halfway eek! Time is flyinggggg) I feel so incredibly grateful for a dare I say DECENT first trimester and an even better start to my 2nd. I’ve learned a lot this pregnancy about how my body is and reacts and all about myself too. I am definitely not the woman who enjoys my pregnant belly and body but this time around it has been so much easier to embrace and just roll with the changes!
I’m sharing all of my must pregnancy essential items that have helped me thus far to stay as comfortable as possible. These comfort items help support my bod adjusting to its temporary form (I have to constantly remind myself its only for a short time and totally worth it!) and most importantly, a healthy home for baby.
My pregnancy survival kit includes:
Comfortable shoes- especially being on my feet all day, new tennis were a must. I have both of these pair and I love that I can just slip on the ON CLOUDS because timing is everything with 2 little kids on the move and we’re constanly running our the door.
This pregnancy pillow I’ve had since I was preggers with my first son, almost 6 years its lasted and its basic but its still my absolute favorite. Hugs everything just right.
These supplements I credit to having the best first 12 weeks. Loaded with everything your growing body and baby needs, I started taking these about a year and a half ago so my body was already accustomed and had built up storage of nutrients, if that's a thing.. I rotate through all of them for maximum benefits, but would recommend starting with Her Package (when it becomes avail again) and Beef Organs.
Magnesium- recommended by my Chiro, these helped me through morning sickness (evening sickness for me) as much as possible and kept my body absorbing all those important nutrients and minerals. And I'm still currently taking and I haven't had any leg cramps (yet!).
Stanley Cup- yep. I don’t go anywhere without it. But instead of water this bad boy has been filled with lemonade, Arnold palmers and tons of juice. I always crave anything besides water whenever I’m pregnant so this has helped a ton this time staying hydrated and nourished when I definitely didn’t want anything to do with food or water.
Comfy biker shorts- my go-to that look cute and are super comfy with just about anything. I love them with an oversized graphic tee or a tank and blazer.
Essential Oils- Peppermint was my saving grace in the salon, we would pump that all day in there to help ease my nauseas moments and I would also keep a bottle on me at all times to sniff if I needed something fast. I applied Valor every morning to the crown of my head to help me get going in the mornings. That is by far my favorite scent and I love smelling it all day long. And finally Tummygize (this is the kids roller) for my belly at night. Bloating is no joke those first 12 weeks. I would feel so uncomfortable some evenings even if I hadn’t eaten anything all day somehow my stomach would bloat to the max. This roller helped ease the discomfort.
This lotion is amazing for my dry skin regardless of pregnancy but I love applying at night, especially to my feet, because of the luxurious lavender scent puts me right to sleep.
I did need to change my skin care routine a bit and am currently using and LOVING Sacred Nature Youth Serum and Hydra Cream. My skin is ultra dry and these are a magic duo AND super clean. I purchased from my sis @BeautyKare_
Belly Band- I’ve already experienced Round Ligament pain at 15 weeks and ouch it makes me cry every time. This band is my new sidekick in the salon and at home when I don’t get any down time to rest or sit. The added support to my belly is a game changer.
